Bike rental in Puglia with delivery to your accommodation
Apulia Bike Tours rents touring bikes, e-bikes, road bikes and gravel bikes in Puglia and delivers them to your accommodation, handing them over in person and adjusting them to your height. On our self-guided tours the bike is delivered to your first accommodation and collected from the last one; you can also rent a bike for a single ride. Travelling without your own bike saves you the stress of transporting it – and you can still bring your own saddle or pedals.
Which bikes can you rent in Puglia?
We offer four types of bike, so every kind of cyclist finds the right one. Models and brands vary according to size and availability; each bike page lists the full specifications.
- Touring bike: aluminium frame, suspension fork, disc brakes, 3 × 7–10 gears, 28” wheels and rear rack – ideal for the secondary and sometimes unpaved roads of our routes
- E-bike: electric pedal assistance for long distances and hills, 418–500 Wh battery, charger and rear rack
- Road bike: Merida Ride 100 and Merida Scultura with carbon fork and Shimano Claris/Sora groupset
- Gravel bike: aluminium frame, carbon fork, disc brakes and 1 × 11 or 2 × 9 gears, from smooth tarmac to gravel tracks
Delivery, collection and bike fitting
We deliver the bikes where and when you need them. On a self-guided tour you find your bike at your first accommodation and leave it at the last one; for a shorter rental we agree the place of delivery with you.
Every bike is handed over in person and adjusted to your height, so tell us how tall you are when you book. If you prefer your own saddle or pedals, bring them along and we will fit them.
Which accessories are included?
The bikes come ready for touring. On our self-guided tours the rear pannier, lock and repair kit are part of the package; helmet and water bottle are available on request – to reduce waste we encourage you to bring your own.

Extras: child trailer, cycling jersey and gel saddle cover
Travelling with small children? On request we provide a Thule Coaster bike trailer: it seats two children, attaches securely to the bike with Thule's ezHitch system and, with the stroller kit included, turns into a pushchair once you arrive. It has extra storage space, folds for transport and meets international safety standards.
Also on request: an Apulia Bike Tours cycling jersey and a gel saddle cover for extra comfort on longer days.
How much does bike rental cost on a tour?
On our self-guided cycling tours a touring or gravel bike is included in the price. An e-bike costs € 115 to € 300 per bike depending on the length of the tour, a road bike € 55 to € 150; road bikes are not offered on the Two Seas loop or on the gravel tours. For rentals without a tour we send you a quote based on dates, bike type and place of delivery.

Frequently asked questions
Can I rent a bike without booking a tour?
Yes. You can rent a bike for a single ride or for several days; we deliver it where and when you need it and send you a quote first.
Do you deliver the bikes to my hotel?
Yes. The bike is delivered to your accommodation, handed over in person and adjusted to your height; on tours we collect it from your last accommodation.
Is the bike included in the tour price?
Yes. A touring or gravel bike is included on all our self-guided cycling tours; e-bikes and road bikes cost a supplement per bike.
How much does an e-bike cost on a tour?
Between € 115 and € 300 per bike: € 115 on the 6-day tours, € 140–180 on the 7–9-day tours and € 300 on the 15-day Grand Tour of Puglia.
Can I bring my own pedals or saddle?
Yes. You can bring your own saddle or pedals, or ask us for flat, SPD, SPD-SL or Look pedals.
Do you rent child trailers?
Yes, on request. Our Thule Coaster trailer seats two children and converts into a stroller.
