Road bike rental in Puglia: Merida Ride 100 and Scultura
For road cyclists we rent two Merida models in Puglia – the Ride 100 (sizes S, S/M and M/L) and the Scultura (XS and L) – both with carbon fork, Shimano Claris/Sora groupset and FSA Tempo 50-34 compact crankset. You can choose them on 9 of our self-guided cycling tours for a supplement of € 55 to € 150 per bike, or rent them on their own. Light and fast, they are made for long days on tarmac.
Why ride a road bike in Puglia?
Road bikes appeal to those who love long rides or cycling in a group: a light frame, precise handling and an efficient position let you cover distance quickly and with little effort on good tarmac.
Our self-guided tours mostly follow quiet secondary roads; the road bike suits the routes with good asphalt. It is not offered on the Two Seas loop, which is not suitable for road bikes, or on the gravel tours.

What comes with the road bike
Instead of a rear pannier, the road bike has a small saddle bag for your essentials; on our tours your luggage is transferred every day from one accommodation to the next. You also get a lock and a repair kit (spare inner tube, pump and tyre lever); helmet and water bottle are available on request.
We deliver the bike to your first accommodation, adjust it to your height and collect it at the end. Choose Look, SPD or SPD-SL pedals, or bring your own.

The road bike is available on 9 of our 10 classic self-guided tours, for a supplement per bike for the whole tour. For a road bike rental without a tour we send you a quote.

Which pedals do I get?
You choose between Look, SPD and SPD-SL pedals, or bring your own.
Can I carry luggage on a road bike?
